Lymphatic Tincture from Nutritional Frontiers is intended to support the lymphatic system, which the body relies on for fluid balance, the transport of some fats and to work with the immune system to keep us healthy. This formula contains cleavers (Galium aparine), red clover (Trifolium prataense), Calendula (marigold), queen's root (Stillingia sylvatica), blue flag (Iris versicolor) and ginger (Zingiber officinale) all in an alcohol base (preservative).
Cleavers has long been used in traditional medicine as a tonic to the lymph system. It is believed to work by supporting lymphatic drainage and lymphatic fluid flow. Calendula may promote lymph production. Known in Native American medicine, blue flag was used for a number of issues including lymph node support.
