Royal Jelly is a thick, milky substance secreted from the pharyngeal glands of a special group of young nurse bees between their 6th and 12th days of life after birth. The Queen bee is fed with Royal Jelly throughout her entire life, while the worker bees are fed on regular hone and pollen.
